JAKARTA, 18 Feb 2021- Southeast Asia’s e-commerce solutions platform, Genie, has officially launched in Indonesia, providing merchants with an all-in-one sales management platform to boost sales and grow their business, online and offline. Its suite of services include stock inventory management and fulfillment, integration with major e-commerce marketplaces, business analytics and customer relationship management.
Since its soft launch in January 2020, Genie’s omni-channel sales management platform already supports 30,000 merchants in Indonesia and processed over 36 million e-commerce orders in less than a year. It has integrated with all major e-commerce platforms in in Indonesia, including Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Lazada, JD.ID and Shopee. 59 million SKUs are currently available on Genie’s platform and the digitalisation boom due to the Covid19 pandemic saw Genie process over USD320 million in total gross merchandise value.
Online businesses have grown hand in hand with the rising number of internet users across Indonesia. According to Bank Rakyat Indonesia, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) account for 60.3 percent of the entire Indonesian economy. Furthermore, 65.8 percent of the country’s total population of over 260 million are active internet users.
